Organized and Productive Living

31 Days of Organization: The Key to Good Organization is Flexibility

Flexibility is the Key to a Good Organization System

There’s a quote that says, “Nothing is permanent except change.” Just because you have an area or a room, or even your entire house organized a certain way doesn’t mean it has to stay that way.

You are entitled to change your mind as many times as you want until you are satisfied that things are how you like them, and even then.

Our tastes change, our needs change, and it only makes sense that how we use our spaces change. That change may be gradual, as we plan how to renovate a space to better suit our needs. Or, you may be sitting in a chair one afternoon, look over and think, “This isn’t working for me anymore”, which could then trigger a spur-of-the moment change.

Either way, the key to living an organized life is flexibility. Be willing to change things around if you feel like it; once, twice, ten times if necessary. Maybe the change is going to be permanent, or maybe it’s going to be short term. Whatever the case, make sure it is something YOU can live with. The only person you have to please is yourself.
